Central Park North

The site has been cleared and ground works have started.

Over 23 of the 52 apartments available in this exclusive new development are already sold, with many of the purchasers being local northside residents.

What’s happening at Westfield?

The expansion of Westfield Chermside is proceeding and completion date is due for late 2006.

A media release issued about the redevelopment states: “The centre will have an enhanced everyday shopping experience at the heart of the redevelopment with an exciting market square and lifestyle precinct, enhanced by community artwork. There will be a major link to the scenic Chermside Parklands.  

The centre has been planned with the greater vision of Chermside as being mixed use area with medium density housing and with the future growth of Chermside as a major centre under the City Plan.”  

Surrounding Roadworks

The ‘Kitty Hawk Drive’ project which will link Hamilton Road to Murphy Road is on target for completion in June of this year.  Completion of these road works will also provide an additional entry into the new Westfield Chermside Development.
