Welcome to our first edition of the Opalyn Property Group Newsletter for 2011. I hope that you and your families survived unharmed as a result of the recent flooding of the past few month.
Construction Update
Construction of our C1 apartments for the start of the 2011 was slow due to all the rain over the Christmas New Year break, however, with the roof going on just before Christmas, construction internally was kept at a steady pace with some of the trades working through the break to keep construction moving forward without too much interruption.
Kitchen joinery is now installed on ground through to level 5, vanities are installed up to level 4, the tilers are doing a great job with the entries, bathrooms & balconies up to level 5, internal framing has started on level 7 with sheeting 75% complete.
Scaffold is now down on southern side with the northern side coming down this week, it’s great to see the building taking shape inside and out. The facia on the front of the commercial area is finalised and as a result the footpath has been re-opened on Hamilton Road. Our display unit will be open next week so it will be lovely to see the finishes completed.
